Here we go again. Word leaked out today that ten states will be granted waviers to comply with the No Moron Left Behind Act. This act should be re-named: the Education Trophy Act. Can't read or write? Nooooooo problem, we will throw more money at education and give every child a trophy instead of a diploma.

The Obamanable administration has now become synonymous with waivers. Let us count the ways:

> Don't like the health care law? No problem...apply for a waiver.

> Can't read or write? No problem...apply for a waiver.

> Can't pay your mortgage? No problem...Obama will sue the banks and "waive" your problem.

> Can't get free contraception from your Catholic health care provider? No problem...we will waive the concept of separation of church and state and make them offer it to you.

Every kid gets a trophy from Obama instead of a diploma!

Mitt Romney: Rich Man, Poor Man

Everybody is in a tizzy over Mitt Romney's comments to CNN about not being concerned about the poor.
Saying the nation had a "very ample safety net," Romney cited Medicaid, food stamps and housing vouchers as examples of government programs that protect the poor. "I'm not concerned about the very poor," he said.. "There's a safety net there, and if it needs repair I'll fix it. I'm not concerned about the very rich, they're doing just fine. I'm concerned about the heart of America, the 95% of Americans who are right now struggling."

Newt Wasserman Gingrich quickly went on the attack, as if he as a member of the DNC. Give me a break. The federal government spends hundreds of billions of dollars to feed, shelter and care for those in poverty. Over the past few years our government has drifted from taking care of the truly needy (the proverbial safety net) to taking care of the truly needy AND the truly lazy or people who have made poor choices and as a result live in poverty. We have created a comfort net for millions of people who do not deserve any benefits.

Mitt Romney needs to take a deep breath once in a while and realize that the Obamanoids are always looking for that ill-conceived "sound-bite" to use against you. The liberal main street media will, of course, ignore all the gaffes that the president makes.

I agree with Mitt Romney that we have a "very ample safety net". The dumbocrats will make a big deal of this truncated sound bite, as well as a desperate Newt Wasserman Gingrich. Let's face facts, the dumbocrats have a virtual lock on the poverty vote anyway. They will continue to try to buy votes with more and more "safety net" programs. However, the more the left tries to portray Romney as the enemy of the poor, the more they will turn off the millions of hard working taxpayers who believe the liberal Moocher State should be downsized to affordable and realistic levels.

Don't worry, taxpayers, the Moocher State is in good hands with Nancy and Harry.

Mitt Romney Pays More Than His Fair Share of Taxes

President Obama, the Divider-in-Chief, will pontificate tonight about how the wealthy should pay more in taxes -- their "FAIR SHARE". He will, of course, ignore the obvious...that when you tax something more you get less. The president should look at his corrupt state of Illinois, which increased its state income tax a whopping 67%, from 3% to 5% and saw its gross tax receipts drop. Never let the facts get in the way of a good, old populist campaign season, Mr. President.

Mitt Romney released his 2010 tax returns and his estimated 2011 tax returns today. His 2010 "effective" tax rate of "only" 13.9% has the left buzzing about the rich not paying their fair share. I contend that Mitt Romney pays more than his fair share. Let''s look at the numbers:

Mitt Romney made about $20 million and paid close to $3 million in taxes. His income was mostly from dividends and interest, so the income was taxed at the capital gains rate of 15%. The left will scream that this is not "fair" because even the "poor" are in the 10% to 15% tax bracket. Of course, they never mention that there is a HUGE difference between your tax bracket and your effective tax rate.

I went to the H & R Block website to see what a typical couple making $50,000 a year, with two kids and $6,000 in mortgage interest would pay in federal taxes. Even though this typical couple is in the 15% tax bracket, their tax is NOT $7,500. This typical couple will pay only $690 in federal taxes for an effective tax rate of only 1.4%. So Mitt Romeny's 2010 effective tax rate is ten times more than the typical taxpayer really pays.

By the numbers, Mitt Romney pays the tax equivalent of 4,347 taxpayers who each make $50.000 a year .... ($3 million divided by $690 = 4,347 taxpayers).

Mitt Romney pays more than his fair share, Mr. President. It's time for the bottom 50% of taxpayers, who pay little or nothing in taxes and receive most of the benefits, to pay more.

The more money we send to Uncle Scam, the more they waste!

Downsizing the Government in the Age of Obabble

The president loudly proclaimed last week that he is going to streamine the federal bureaucracy by eliminating the Commerce Department and merging six other overlapping (useless) agencies. He claimed this move would save $300 million a year or $3 billion over ten years. He failed to mention that it would save $30 billion over 100 years! It only took him a year to get around to this announcement after he mentioned it a year ago in his state of the union address. My, how time flies when you are so busy golfing and vacationing!

The Budgetcutter-in-Chief made a big deal about this cost savings move and vowed to accomplish it with or without Congressional approval. What a leader!. This $300 million in cost savings amounts to approximately TWO HOURS of our federal budget deficit (we overspend by about $4 billion a day).

The president failed to mention that since he took office he has grown the federal bureaucracy by thousands of employees with the passage of Obamanable-care. Dodd-Frank and the consumer protection acts.

Is Barack Obama a budget cutter? He reminds me of the drunk who brags loudly how he has cut back on his whiskey consumption only to be caught drinking vodka instead. The president is still a drunken spender, Only the liberal media is buying this pile of Campaign 2012 nonsense.

The liberal media swoons over him and lets him brag about downsizing the government by a paltry $300 million a year while our budget deficit is $4 billion a day and $1.3 trillion a year.

The Obamanable-care bureaucracy...I don't see much cost savings here!

Obama's Trumanesque Slogan: THE BUCK IS WASTED HERE

Fidel Hugo Obama is trying to compare himself to past presidents. He's compared himself to Lincoln, FDR, and Teddy Roosevelt. Nowhere did he mention the likes of Jimmy Carter or James Buchanan for a truer comparison.

Now he is trying to copy Harry Truman who ran against a "do-nothing Congress" in 1948. Nice try, Fidel. In 1948, the Republicans controlled both the House and Senate. Today the Republicans control only the House while the Senate, run by the inept Harry Reid, is controlled by the Dumbocrats. The Senate hasn't passed a budget in three years and they refuse to vote on over a dozen pro-growth bills passed in the Republican House. When running for re-election, Obama should run against the do-nothing Dumbocratic Senate and Harry Reid.

Harry Truman was famous for the motto displayed on his desk: THE BUCK STOPS HERE.

Obama should have a motto on his desk which says: THE BUCK IS WASTED HERE.

Fidel Hugo Obama and the Honorable (?) Jon S. Corzine

Fidel Hugo Obama campaigned in Kansas this week and tried to evoke the memory of the overrated progressive Teddy Roosevelt. Instead of acting like a President and defending his (dreadful) record he instead sounded like a candidate running for the office of president. The one thing Fidel clearly has in common with Teddy R. is his hatred for big business.The self-righteous Obama railed against economic freedom and tried to fan the flames of class warfare, envy, and anger among the electorate.His language, like Roosevelt's, blamed the financial crisis on "the breathtaking greed of a few". And of course, he blamed the Republicans for enabling all this irresponsibility. He forgot to remind the voters that the Democrats, including the brilliant Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, were in power before, during, and after the collapse of the financial markets, Fidel Hugo Obama will say anything and spend any amount of money to get re-elected.

Meanwhile, back in DC Dodoland, the Honorable Jon S. Corzine (that's what his name plate said) testified before Congress about the collapse of MF Global. When asked about the missing $1.2 billion dollars at MF Global he said, " I really don't know where the money is." No one on the congressional panel asked him if he knew where the nearest jail cell was. Only in America can a powerful man run a company into the ground, "lose" over a billion dollars, be called "Honorable", and not be arrested for grand theft.

Democrat Fidel Hugo Obama never ran a business before becoming president and it shows. Democrat Jon S. Corzine, another genius from Goldman Sachs, was a lousy Senator and an even worse governor from NJ. He then ran a multi-billion dollar company into bankruptcy in a matter of months while losing $1.2 billion in the process! Joe Biden was right when he called Corzine his "go to guy" for financial advice on federal financial matters!

What can we learn from Fidel Hugo Obama and the Honorable Jon S. Corzine? The gradual decline of America is not our fate, but a choice. Our country's malaise has been driven by the powerful, inept, and corrupt people in BOTH politcal parties who choose to use the USA as a piggy bank to advance their ideologies for both political power and personal gain.

Unemployment rate, CPI, Federal Budget #'s -- Fairy Tales for Everyone

Underworked government employees enjoying some time off after calculating the unemployment rate.

The monthy unemployment numbers were released yesterday. The U 3 number, which is the headline number, was reported as 8.6%. The economy added only 120,000 jobs, mostly in the low paying retail and services sector. Most economists believe the economy needs to create close to 200,000 jobs a month just to break even. So how did the unemployment "rate" drop?

It is easy to get the unemployment rate to drop when 315,000 stopped looking for jobs and 120,000 jobs were "created". Get three people to drop out of the labor pool for every one added and, BINGO, the unemployment rate will drop from 9.0 % to 8.6%. The U3 number is essentially taken by dividing the number of unemployed by the number of people in the workforce. If more people leave the labor pool than are hired the unemployment rate will drop. Only the government can come up with an unemployment equation like this that drives so much monetary and fiscal policy!

The real unemployment rate (U 6) is closer to 16%, but let the government and Obama spin these numbers any way they want. Millions of Americans are still unemployed, under-employed, working part-time instead of full-time, or have stagnating wages. Meanwhile, federal employees, including the President, congressmen, senators, and bureaucrats continue to live high on the hog.

The headline unemployment number is about as credible as the government's CPI number, which excludes energy and food price fluctuations. And it is just as credible as all the federal budget "cuts" the president and congress keep talking about.

The Obama jobs program is clearly working. If the work force keeps shrinking, the unemployment rate will soon reach historic lows. Keep up the good work, all you beltway blowhards and DC dodos. The stimulus is finally working. And a few more green initiatives like Solyndra will just be the cherry on top!

OWS and Black Friday: Dumber and Dumbest

The wretched are still camping out at various OWS (Obama's Welfare State) cities. In spite of orders to leave, these losers refuse to face reality. Stupid signs like "You Can't Evict an Ideal" and "Still Occupied" typify this brilliant liberal loser movement.

Meanwhile, the giant retailers started Black Friday earlier this year. To lure the worst retail customer among us, they gave away merchandise to minimuze profits and maximize "buzz". Every year the crowds get more unruly, A great place to get crushed is outside a Walmart, a Best Buy or a mall. Some stores, which were not scheduled to open at midnight, were forced to "open" because the crowds broke open the doors and trampled over the retail employees.

The OWS crowd and the Black Friday stampeders represent the dumber and dumbest of America.These are the same people who will riot and protest when the Beltway Blowhards are forced to take away or dramatically reduce their entitlements.

This country is getting a "greece-y" feel to it and it is not very pretty.

Thanksgiving Musings

Today is Thanksgiving Day. For many of us older folks, it is a truly special day. It is a day to give thanks for the great nation we live in, in spite of the corrupt and clueless beltway blowhards who are trying to destoy this country, one spending program at a time.

I would particularly like to thank:

> My nephew Stephen and special friend Ryan who are probably enjoying cold turkey delivered by a donkey in Afghanistan. Keep safe Stephen and Ryan.

> All the millionaires and billionaires who pay most of the income taxes in this country. In spite of the Blowhard-in-Chief's efforts to demonize them (while raking in campaign money from them), they will remain one of the most important parts of our society. People like liberal billionaires Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have built fortunes the old fashioned way, through hard and intelligent work, while "saving and creating" and making rich hundreds of thousands of workers throughout the years.

> OWS (Obama's Welfare State) for making me appreciate the freedoms we have. This misguided collection of misfits, moochers, and spoiled brats remind us of the vocal part of the 47% ot the people who do not pay taxes. They are not part of the 99%, but part of the 47% who are the takers from government. The OWS crowds should turn on the TV once in a while and look at all the poverty and misery there is throughout the world. Get off your lazy, spoiled and soiled asses and find a job, any job. If you are any good, you will eventually make out. This is America, where the opportunities still exist if you are willing to make the long term sacrifices. If you don't like the capitalisitc system, work to change it the non-violent way, or move to Greece or Egypt. To quote Pandemic Pelosi, "and that's that".

The Occupy Wall Street "movement" is disintegrating before our eyes. The people who are left are clearly the liberal losers, homeless bums, Marxists, anarchists, and the 99ers (the people who still have some unemployment checks left). If someone could take a poll of these incoherent jerks at all these cities, I am sure you would find the vast majority of them are on some kind of public assistance like food stamps, welfare, unemployment, or medicaid. They are not the 99%, but the 47% of the people who do not pay income taxes. This movment should be called Obama's Welfare State, because its proponents want a free ride or an easy life without any sacrifice.

This movement has been given support by the Divider-in-Chief, Barack Obama who has been conducting a War on Wealth campaign for years. These are his people, the kind a community organizer can mold any way he wants.This movement is supported by the liberal loons like Pandemic Pelosi and Debbie Marist-Schultz. Gutless mayors like Bloomberg let these people run wild until the damage was done to innocent tax paying people in the area.. I am surprised he didn't give trophies to all the protesters before their precious tents were taken away.

This movement reminds me of the Vietnam war protests in the '60's. These protests will reach a crescendo at the Republican nominating convention and it will get much worse by then. The president owns this movement by his silence in not condemning its descent into nihilism.

The best way to get rid of these vermin is for Wal Mart to hold a jobs fair for all these folks. These people don't want jobs or "fairness". They just want to cause trouble. When the Wal Marters show up, just watch the roaches scatter when the job lights are turned on them.

Nancy and Harry, these are your people. You deserve them.

15,000,000,000,000 Reasons to Despise the Beltway Blowhards

Today the U.S. debt clock will strike $15 trillion. Meanwhile, the 12 bickering jerks on the Stupor Committee continue to jockey for the 2012 elections. Any person with a room temperature IQ could cut $1.2 trillion from the federal budget over lunch and a couple of JD's on the rocks. But, what do you expect when the group is comprised of 6 conservative Republicans and 6 liberal Democrats -- deadlock!

We started getting into these deficit troubles in 1964 when the the Texas bloward LBJ got his (not so) Great Society legislation passed. It is been downhill every since. Since 1964, we have fought too many needless wars, expanded too many bloated poverty programs, dramatically expanded entitlement spending, and added so many federal agencies that even Rick Perry can't remember them all!

George W. Bush put our deficits into overdrive during his compassionately, stupid conservative 8 years in office and the Great Barack Obama, the Divider-in-Chief, doubled down on his profligate spending habits. We now borrow 40 cents of every dollar we spend and these morons in Washington can't find anything to cut?

Some ideas, after just one Jack Daniels...

How about a tax on insider Congressional stock trading? How about getting rid of Jimmy Carter's Energy Department? How about eliminating all foreign aid and replacing it with humanitarian aid (only when there is a disaster)? Why not eliminate the Education Department or cut the Defense budget by 10%? We have 1/2 million troops in 150 countries --why? Oh yeah, Obamanable-Care should be repealed. Cut the federal bureacracy by 10% -- across the board, including Homeland Security. Bring home the 38 thousand troops from Korea and put them on our borders...

Oh, I almost forgot, everybody should pay some income tax, even if it's only $5.00 a week.

How ironic that the number 15 trillion has 12 zeroes in it -- the same number of losers on the Stuper
Committee.

Joe Paterno's Reign & The Beltway Blowhards Reign of Terror

Joe Paterno's reign over Penn State is over. He clearly stayed too long, had too much power, and had lost touch with reality. He should have been shown the door a decade ago. His reign is an example of older people who just refuse to leave, unless they are shown the door.

How does his circumstance relate to the Beltway Blowhards? It is quite simple. Too many of the people in power on the beltway have stayed too long. Charles Rangel, John McCain, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, the late Ted Kennedy and his buddy Robert Byrd who stayed around for 49 years and literally died in office. These people have too much power because of their longevity and lose touch with the folks. It is time for term limits: twelve years in the House and twelve years in the Senate.

Joe Pa turned into Joe Pathetic in the end as did Mr. Byrd. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I still remember when I had to take the car keys away from my mother because she could no longer drive skillfully. If I hadn't, she probably would have killed somebody.

It's time to take the keys away from the corrupt beltway blowhards. If you don't believe me, ask the trustees of Penn State. The Joe Pathetic debacle will cost Penn State tens of millions of dollars after all the lawsuits are settled.

The Beltway Blowhards who seem to stay forever are costing us trillions of dollars and our future is at state. If they won't leave, let's take away their keys on election day.

Occupy the Voting Booth: Today is Election Day

Next Year is the BIG ONE!

Today is election day in an "off year". Next year is the "big one" when the Community-Organizer-in-Chief tries to get re-elected. While the anarchists, unemployed, Marxists, union thugs, homeless, and the useless have taken over from the original Occupy Wall Street crowd, millions of Americans will work within the system and vote on local candidates and many ballot issues. This is the American way - voting for change, not tossing a Molatev cocktail at a hard-working cop.

The Dumbocrats, Obama included, will regret the day when they embraced the so called Occupy Wall Street movement. Each day the crowds get more unruly and the 53%, those who pay taxes, and part of the 47% who do not, get more and more disgusted. The left tries to compare this unruly movement with the Tea Party movement. Nice try, but a pathetic one.

The Tea Partiers will go to work today and take the time to work within the system and vote for change or to keep the status quo. The system is not perfect, but it sure beats joining the left wing Moocher State movement which is going nowhere but to jail.

The Colonel from Libya finally got his just rewards. He was executed by a Libyan wearing a New York Yankees cap. His body is currently resting in a meat locker, so the UN Human Rights Coalition can investigate his demise. According to them, it's ok to kill someone in combat, but once he is captured, it is not ok to murder him, even though the monster was responsible for hundreds of thousands of Libyans being butchered over the last four decades.

I find it interesting how Obama praised the Libyan rebels yesterday for his demise. I wonder how he would have reacted if one of our soldiers had taken him out in the same manner. Our soldier would probably have been court martialed or tried by Eric Holder for crimes against humanity. Nice double standard, Mr. President, but I'll give you a pass on this execution.

Good riddance to the Colonel, who never promoted himself to a general. I am sure there were no virgins waiting for him in the next life. Instead, since he was killed by a Yankees fan, it would be fitting if he was given 27 New York Yankees World Championship rings made out of pork rinds and an eternity of getting bonked over the head by Babe Ruth's 50 ounce bat.

Rumor has it that both Nich Swisher and A-Rod took the first shots at Khadafy and, of course, missed. The only way this story would have been sweeter if the colonel were wearing a Red Sox cap when he was executed by the "Yankees" fan.

Joe Biden Uses Scarenomics to Justify $35 Billion Boondoogle Jobs Bill

Joe Biden disgraced himself yesterday by proclaiming that if the Republicans killed the $35 billion boondoggle jobs bill for cops, firemen, teachers and first responders then the number of rapes and murders would increase. October 31 is approaching so maybe the Vice President has seen too many of the Halloween movies. Joe Biden never ceases to amaze me. He is a walking commercial for the potential uses of duct tape. Whenever he opens his mouth, the Obama administration must cringe.

Will somone please explain to me why the over-taxed citizens of the U.S. should pay for some local cop or fireman's job?. This stimulus "jobs" bill is yet another payoff for the public unions. Yes, Mr. Vice President, this is a "tempory" measure. After the year of funding runs out for these union people, thousands of them will be laid off and 99 weeks of unemployment will then kick in. So the bill's real cost could approach $75 to $90 billion over three years.

Vice President Biden is clearly in the Dan Quayle IQ territory. He is so bad that perhaps President Obama will have him committed to an old folks progressive home. Then he can put Hillary on the ticket in 2012.

VP Joe Biden, is a man with a progressive, liberal arts degree in Scarenomics, with a graduate degree in Dodonomics.

Barrack Obama's $450 billion jobs bill is dead because it was just another stimulus boondoggle. It was "paid for" with a 10 year tax on "billionaires & millionaires". Only in Washington can a bunch of loser liberals try to sell a one year stimulus spending bill and pay for it over ten years -- brilliant!

The Obama administration is scrambling to blow some more stimulus money before the fiscal year expires today. Obama, who is a huge fan of the dreadful Chicago White Sox, got an idea late Wednesdy night while watching the final game of the baseball season. As most of you know, the Red Sox and Atlanta Braves blew historic September leads and choked on the final game of the season. Thousands of their loyal fans in Boston and Atlanta flew into rage and slammed their radios and smashed their television sets against the wall.

Obama immediately declared Boston and Atlanta federal disaster areas and approved a $1 billion "Cash for Chokers" fund for all the frustrated fans of these two cities. Each frustrated fan who smashed his radio, cell phone, or television set in these two cities is eligible for up to $1,000 in choker funds. All that is required is a picture of your destroyed article and a receipt for the replacement item. Millionaires and billionaires are not eligible for this program, but priority will be given to union members, the unemployed, and the people on food stamps and welfare.

Barack Obama, the Reverend-in-Chief, must think he is the president in the year 1911, not 2011. In the good old days of politics, before 24/7 radio and cable TV, politicians could do anything and say just about anything before different audiences and get away with most of their nonsense, because nobody was listening or watching. Newspapers reported most of the political action. Today, no politician can hide from his or her actions, even when the liberal media tries to look the other way.

Obama's now famous 'Take Your Slippers Off'" speech is an example of pandering before a specific audience and believing you can get away with it. Obama's approval rating among blacks has sunk to 58% so what does he do? He goes into a southern, black preacher mode and talks down to his black audience. Shame on him. He is supposed to be the President of the United States, which includes blacks, whites, latinos etc. I listened to his speech once and then replayed it with my eyes closed. I could have sworn I was listening to the good reverend Jesse Jackson. Perish the thought. The American voters repudiated Jackson's wealth redistribution presidential campaigns several times.

Obama must think no one is watching. I thought Obama's stereotyping of blacks disappeared when the Amos and Andy episodes went off the air decades ago.

Reverend Obama needs the Old Media to watch him make a fool out of himself.
